Bruce & Lois...Falling Slowly

I recently found LJ and am very glad I did! I am an avid fan of Smallville, and up until recently, enjoyed the pairing of Lois and Clark. I've always enjoyed the various portrayals of this iconic couple, but especially Erica Durance and Tom Welling. However, Smallville's recent arc involving Lana's return (temporary as it was) regressed Clark's character, derailed this show, and seriously damaged the romantic pairing of Lois and Clark.
Which leads me to why I'm glad I found LJ...
After Lois Lane recently had her heart broken, in my little AU (alternate universe), she wound up in Gotham City...meeting one Mr. Bruce Wayne! And the rest, as they say, is history!
Seriously, I've always thought that Lois Lane made a better partner/love for Bruce Wayne. Especially Erica Durance (Lois Lane) & Christian Bale (Bruce Wayne/Batman). Those two make quite a lovely pair...not to mention, they would be quite steamy together! LOL
Anyhow, on LJ I've found others who feel the same way about Brois (Bruce & Lois), and it's refreshing!
I'll continue to watch Smallville, but Erica Durance is the only draw to that show for me now. Nothing against Tom Welling (as I think he's terrific), but I'm lost in my AU world where Brois is the end game!
